What is scambaiting?
Scambaiting is the practice of tricking scammers, usually by pretending to be a gullible victim, in order to waste their time and resources. These are often also called revenge scams, and often lead to scammers being tricked into losing money or time, and often both.

Pleasant Green uses a more traditional approach to scambaiting, by pretending to be a gullible victim. However, what sets him apart is his vast knowledge of various scams and how they work. He knows exactly where to find the scammers (Facebook, ads, fake authorities) and what kind of data the scammers need from their victims in order to steal from them.

Scammer Payback is a channel that is dedicated to revenge. The hosts often use creative methods to get their victims to waste time and money. For example, they have been known to order pizza to scammers' houses and have it delivered to their doorsteps after finding out their actual physical addresses (which coincidentally, is usually in India).

Jim Browning is a YouTuber with a more serious approach. He often uses his knowledge of scammer's inner workings to get them by searching for their personal details like phone numbers, physical addresses and computer vulnerabilities . He has even been known to hack into scammers' computers and steal their money, and send police to search their premises under the threats of national security.

Trilogy Media is a channel that uses a mix of techniques to get revenge on scammers. They have been known to use both physical and digital methods to scam the scammers. For example, they would find out the call centres' real address and send glitter bombs to explode at their doorstep. His YouTube channel involves more than just scambaiting scammers; he also gives helpful tips on how to avoid being scammed in the first place. Despite this, he is still able to get revenge on those who have tried to scam him or his viewers. For example, he was once able to convince a scammer that he worked for the FBI and would be able to help them launder money if they sent him a picture of themselves holding up a sign with his YouTube channel name.
Malcom Merlyn
Malcom Merlyn is a YouTuber who uses his experience as an ex-con to get revenge on scammers. He often calls them and pretends to be a bail bondsman, telling them that he will have them arrested if they don't pay him. He has also been known to send people to their homes and workplaces, pretending
to be from the IRS or other government agencies.
Why do we keep getting scammed?
There are a few reasons why people keep falling for scams, even though there is so much information out there about how to avoid them.
Firstly, scammers are becoming more and more sophisticated in their methods. They are using increasingly believable fake websites and email addresses, and they are also using social media to target people.
Secondly, many people are simply not aware of the risks of giving out personal information or sending money to someone they don't know.
